Administrative Services
International Trade Staff
The International Trade program assists Washington state businesses in profitably accessing the global marketplace by providing training and assistance, building international trade relationships, and advocating the importance of international trade to Washington’s economy. We work with companies small and large to help them enter new foreign markets to sell their products and services or to expand sales overseas. We provide most of our services to Washington companies at no charge.
Regional Services
The goal of regional services is to strengthen Washington’s economy by assisting companies in target industries looking to expand. The program partners with each county’s Associate Development Organizations and other economic development organizations to provide services and resources to facilitate local business growth.
Statewide Services
Statewide services works with domestic and international companies investigating Washington as a prospective location for expansion or relocation projects. We promote and market Washington state as a competitive place to do business, and collaborate with local economic development organizations through the site selection process.
Community and Financial Assistance
We provide technical assistance, financing services and targeted lending to small and medium-sized businesses through loan capital for start-up and expansion projects. Finance programs are only available to businesses operating within the state of Washington.
Tourism Office Staff
We market Washington as an exceptional travel destination by influencing consumer decisions to travel within the state year-round. Our objective is to drive visitors into communities throughout Washington state to increase visitor travel, spending and tax revenues.
