The Puget Sound and 157 miles of Pacific coastline have produced a robust maritime industry in Washington. The marine sector is supported by one of the most advanced port infrastructure systems in the U.S.

Washington is home to some of the most cutting-edge advanced materials manufacturers in the world and has become a leader in diverse sectors including the manufacturing and repair of yachts, ferries, custom kayaks, and tug boats; shipyard design & construction; and naval architecture and marine engineering.

Thanks, in part to the help provided by Commerce, Clallam County EDC and Shorebank, we were put on the path to being awarded three new navy contracts.  These contracts will provide a stable workload that will provide more jobs and stability for our workforce in Port Angeles.

Armstrong Marine Inc.
