Join us for a special event on trade and development, with speakers Congressman Jim McDermott and Kimberly Ann Elliott of the Center for Global Development in Washington, DC.  The discussion will focus on the special market access currently given to developing countries, and how we can improve development outcomes by expanding and improving that access.

FRAEC is hosting five representatives from industry and public utilities  from the Russian Far East September17-23rd.  The delegates are specifically interested in learning about energy efficiency and related technologies, as well as making contacts with companies for possible sales.

This year's summit will primarily focus on freight mobility and transportation issues (intermodal, distribution, rail and trucking issues) impacting freight and agricultural shippers in North Central Washington and the Columbia Basin of Washington State.
